- That's not a good analogy at all. I've never used either Windows or
- Windows-NT, but I believe that much of the philosophy, as seen from the
- user, is the same on the two. Likely much of the programming is as well,
- since Windows-NT will run Windows programs. The same is not even remotely
- true of a UNIX variant versus AmigaOS.

- A UNIX variant is not an option for me. I want something designed with
- somewhat more recent operating system technology, and without the
- tremendous amount of baggage that UNIX comes with. I've watched many
- UNIX sysadmins in action, and it is not something I ever want to deal
- with. Administering this Amiga, which runs as a UUCP node for mail
- and news, and often AmiTCP/IP as well, is absolutely trivial in comparison.
